We’ll capture intimate getting-ready moments in a fun and photogenic Airbnb, followed by a vow exchange in a unique Tokyo location. Day 2 of the workshop takes you on a breathtaking Mount Fuji adventure elopement. The day begins in a traditional-style Airbnb or Ryokan, where we’ll capture the couple’s preparation in a setting full of authentic charm. From there, we’ll explore local markets and small towns, providing a range of cultural and intimate moments to photograph. The highlight of the day will be a private ceremony framed by a stunning floral arch in a location that offers a panoramic view of Mount Fuji, creating a perfect blend of romance and nature for your portfolio.

On Day 3, the workshop moves to Kyoto for a more traditional Japanese elopement experience. The day begins at a traditional-style Airbnb, where the couple will wear beautiful Japanese attire. We’ll explore the historic streets of Kyoto, capturing the timeless beauty of the city. Later, the couple will change into western-style clothing, adding a modern touch to their elopement. The day concludes with a scenic boat ride along the river, where the vibrant autumn leaves will provide a stunning backdrop for your photos, creating unforgettable images full of seasonal charm.

In the evening, we’ll gather to share sake, reminisce about the unforgettable experiences, and celebrate the connections made during this incredible journey. 3. Is lodging included in the workshop fee?
• No, lodging is not included in the content day package and only included for one night from the 7th to 8th for those attending the full workshop.
4. Are meals provided during the workshop?
• Meals are not be provided, but we will be exploring local markets and cafes, giving you the opportunity to try a variety of food.
5. How many participants will there be?
• We are keeping the group small to ensure a personalized experience, with no more than 12 participants to ensure you get plenty of one-on-one instruction and time to shoot.
6. What is the weather like in Japan during the workshop?
• Many say November is the best time to visit Japan. The leaves will be changing for fall and range from highs in the 60’s and lows in the 40’s.
7. What will I learn besides photography?
• Along with hands-on photography, the workshop includes sessions on SEO, digital marketing, and short-form video creation to help you grow your business and attract new clients.
8. Do I need to bring models or couples to shoot?
• No, we will have stylish couples already arranged for each elopement day, so you can focus on capturing beautiful images.
9. What are the transportation arrangements?
• Transportation is not included but using the railway in Japan is simple and convenient. I can of course teach those who need help and give you tips before arriving to Japan.
10. Can I use the photos I take during the workshop in my portfolio?
• Absolutely! The purpose of the workshop is to help you build a stunning portfolio, and you’ll be free to use the images you capture.
11. Will there be post-processing or editing sessions?
• While the focus is on shooting, there will be opportunities to discuss editing techniques and workflows. You’re welcome to ask questions about post-processing during the workshop.
12. How do I book a spot in the workshop?
• To book a spot, you can sign the contract we send within the proposal. A deposit is required to secure your spot, with the remaining balance due one month before the workshop if you decide to pay with two installments.
13. What is your cancellation policy?
• We do have a strict cancellation policy as much of the funds are used to bring this workshop to life. Therefore there are no refunds unless we cancel the workshop ourselves. If there is a need to reschedule the workshop due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we will do our best to work with each individual to reschedule or find someone to take your spot.
14. Do I need a visa to travel to Japan?
• Depending on your country of origin, you may need a visa to enter Japan. Please check with your local embassy or consulate for the most accurate information.
